Terms and Conditions
i. Transactions with Paper Republic will be governed by the laws of Ireland. A person must be aged at least 18 years old in order to have the capacity to enter a legal contract. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you are indicating that you are aged 18 years or over.
ii. Payments must be made in full at time of ordering and must be in Euro. We do not accept stage payments. All goods remain the property of Paper Republic until payment is received in full. We communicate with our customers via email. By supplying your email address you are consenting to us contacting you by this method and indicating that this method of communication fulfils any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
iii. Quotations given are valid for 14 days. Due to fluctuations in the EUR/USD exchange rate it is not possible to guarantee the price quoted for any longer. Prices are not quoted on the website for this same reason but we can quote you for any product without delay.
iv. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice. We provide Links to other sites on this website but we do not evaluate or endorse the products or services involved. We will assume no responsibility for defects in products or services provided by parties who have promoted their business through this site. Written permission is required to link to our website.
v. Paper Republic uses sophisticated anti-fraud measures to combat fraud. We reserve the right to refuse to enter into a contract with any party without providing an explanation for this decision. We will not be held liable for events which are beyond our reasonable control.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
REFUND POLICY:
i. Paper Republic is committed to supplying quality paper products and peripherals to you in a timeframe that suits your needs. We are confident that all orders can be filled within a period of 30 days from order confirmation date and usually in a shorter timeframe. You are entitled to a 7 day cooling off period after the date of ordering during which time you may cancel the order and obtain a full refund. If you wish to invoke this, you should email info@paperrepublic.ie with your order number and inform us of this fact. Order confirmation date is 7 days after initial order date. If you wish to speed up delivery of your order you can opt to waive your right to the 7 day cooling off period by emailing us and informing us of this fact when you have ordered. Order confirmation date will then start from date of initial order. In the unlikely event that order delivery will exceed 30 days from date of order confirmation date, we will email you and ask if you still wish to accept the order. If you wish to accept the order you need to email us and tell us. If you so wish we will cancel the order and refund you in full. If goods have been shipped, the refund will be processed on receipt of the returned goods in perfect condition and in their original un-opened packaging.
ii. Prior to order production, we ship a prototype for approval by you. The time taken for you to approve it is outside the 30 day delivery guarantee. Paper Republic reserves the right to ship the final order per this prototype design if approval is not received within 10 working days.
iii. Should goods be damaged in transit, we will either replace them or refund the purchase price and postage, on return of the said goods.
iv. We recommend that you order a Mini Deck which contains a swatch of all 200+ colours in the range plus one item of either Envelofold, Pocket Fold, Portable Pocket, Z-Card or a Gate Card, prior to ordering a quantity of the product. The reason for this is that it is not possible to represent colours 100% accurately on a computer screen as your screen may have different settings to ours. Mini Decks cost €14.00 (plus P&P of €5.00) and are limited to one per customer. We will give you a discount of the €14.00 cost of the mini deck (excl P&P) from your eventual order cost (as long as the shipping name and address is the same and your order value is over €250.00). They should reach you within a week of ordering.
v. Finished product samples cost €10.00 each (plus P&P of €2.50) and are limited to one per customer. We will give you a discount of the cost of this sample (excl P&P) from your eventual order cost (as long as the shipping name and address is the same and your order value is over €250.00). Samples can take up to 30 days to arrive with you.
vi. When availing of the DIY option we recommend that you order a DIY Sample so that you can ensure that your printer is capable of printing on the card. If you choose not to order a DIY Sample Pack you do so at your own risk. Once goods have been shipped you cannot switch to the Self Assembly or Finished Products option. Unlike the Finished Samples and Mini Decks, the cost of these samples is not refundable against the cost of your order. They should reach you within a week of ordering.
vii. Refund of payments for goods of merchantable quality, which were delivered within 30 days of order confirmation date, will be subject to re-stocking, postage and packaging costs. We regret that it is not possible to process returns/refunds for orders of printed or customised products.
viii. In all cases of refund, you will be refunded to the credit or debit card or the bank account used in the original transaction.
ix. Paper Republic uses only reputable and trustworthy couriers to deliver our products. In the event of non-delivery, we will work with you the customer and the courier to elicit a satisfactory outcome for all parties. Where you opt to collect the consignment or have it collected, Paper Republic will accept no responsibility for damage whilst in the possession of your courier.
x. A claim for refund due to delayed delivery, damaged goods or non delivery must be made within 10 days of the end of the delivery period (40 days from order confirmation date) or within 5 days of actual delivery, whichever is earlier. Claims outside of this period will not be entertained.
xi. We reserve the right to discontinue products without notice.
